Buying a cup a o’Joe sure will never have the same meaning again.....
I want to share a little secret in our area called Bare Bulb Coffee. Buying a cup of coffee here will help our own community. This coffee shop is not your ordinary coffee shop it is a non-profit with a mission to help others when they need it most. The 1st way is all of their coffee is sustainably grown and fair traded which means that you are also helping support farmers feed their families while they are replenishing what they’ve used from the earth. 2nd they use their own revenues to benefit our community here in Warner Robins by contributing to our local shelters and charities. Check out some of the neat things they are doing:
·Shed a Little Light Back Packing Buddies, in which they are partnering with a local elementary school to feed 6 children and their families each weekend. On Friday, the children are sent home with a backpack full of food!
·On the 3rd Thursday of the month they contribute something special back to our community while enjoying a GREAT girls night out through their G3 Girls Gone Good group. This time they are arranging a baby shower for local single moms who could not afford one otherwise.
They also have a few community programs that you can get interested in… How about meeting up with their running group, joining their book club or if gambling for charity is your game..how about some TEXAS hold’em! Between all the great coffee and volunteering they also have an open mic night where you can show off some of your own talents. Either way, You need to check this place out or if anything go get a Fabulous cup O’Joe… P.S.. they have a drive through too!
If you want make donations please visit their website http://www.barebulbcoffee.org/index.php/the-mission/. You can make a donation right on the website or Volunteer to help out with Bare Bulb's mission. Be a part of a work group. Or support our work with a donation. They are organized as a 501c3 not-for-profit organization and every gift you make is tax deductable.
Also… I am happy to announce that they are now going to be carrying our handcrafted soap starting next week! So you can now purchase our wonderful good for your body soaps anytime~
Wanted to share the pictures of a wonderful group of ladies who came into the Mossy Creek Soap Studio to learn how to make their own soap at home. We had a lot of fun and I want to personally thank them for a fun filled morning of Soapmaking.
We been hearing again and again and again.. Advertising should you or shouldn’t you. I am sharing with you “the why” you should.
As you guys remember I did a segment for Coffee Soap for WMAZ last month and now the Fox News affiliate in Town wants to know more about how to make Soap!
I am so very thankful! WOW!! I cannot believe this 2 times the good luck! I'll get one more chance! How cool is this?????
If you ask me how I am doing it, it has to do with the Internet. I have had this new page on the internet up 1 day and I already had an important call to do another TV segment for the local News station. So if you do not have an internet presence, you need to get busy. This stems from some new advertising I started on WMAZ (CBS) local “where you live” website pages. Without this advertisement I would not have had this phone call offer? Where would I have been? No call, no free advertising, no potential new business.. Money lost. So if you have been sitting on the fence about whether or not you should advertise and how much money is too much to spend on an ad….do your research and find something to get the word out! If nobody knows you’re there and nobody is going to-come-a-knock’n-on-your door!
In the past I have done postcard campaigns, flyers and even an ad in the newspaper, but the real leads come from Social Media networking and the internet. I don’t pay much for my website.. maybe about $11.95 a month and about $24 every 3 months for a premium shopping cart. So it’s not too bad for your own website? Especially if you are looking to get away from ESTY. Then I added local advertising on the internet. It’s up to you what you invest in but if you really want more business then you need to let us know you’re out there. I have heard that it takes us about 3-4 times to see an advertisement before we acknowledge it and do something about it (if we are interested of course). What are you waiting for…GET BUSY!
